Evaluation 1 -The title of the film/ style (frame 5) and (frame9)

The reason why we chose this as our title was due to the fact it stands out well at the end of our film. We end our film with a scream to leave the audience guessing as to what has just happened and then play the title at the end as it leaves it on a cliff hanger, and it was also a good opportunity. The white writing shows up well on the black background and as our film in set in the woods, the black background is used to represent the darkness in the woods and the white writing is used as silhouettes of the trees. We chose not to use any red font like we planned at the beginning, because after we did our research we realised that the red font is only really used in film involving some kind of murder or gore to represent the blood, but as our film is not gory at all we chose not to use it. The font we used was called 'juice ict' which we thought went well with the genre of our film as it has an unusall
shape to the letters, which are quite sharp and pointy which could suggest danger which noramlly occurs in horror films. We chose not to have any 'fancy' or 'swirly' writing as that is usually seen as safe and assoicated with romance films, and would therefore not relate to our film and could possibly confuse the audience.
